Ethereal Tomb is a “doom-esque” trio from Barrie/Toronto, Canada. Their self-titled album was packed full of evil desert grooves but these new tracks are going to blow your head back from hardcore inspired doom metal. Alexander’s lyrics were inspired by his indigenous family roots and the genocide of indigenous peoples in Canada.
Loose is a five piece metal band from Barrie, Canada. They take inspiration from death,
black and thrash metal with a healthy dose of stoner/sludge. The two songs off the split are
their debut release as a band. Mixing themes of our grim human experience and evil tales,
they pack a punch to keep you at attention for closing out the split.

lyrics
Ready to die
Ready to kill
Spreading a plague
Of hatred and rage
Come as you are
Come as you will
Deadly spawn
Licensed to kill
Bodies scattered amongst the debris
Nations left in misery
Your feeble god I disobey
Begging me for mercy
Call to arms
One by one
Loyal pawns
Flesh and blood
The twig is bent
Now grows the tree
All hope is lost
Go on and pray
Vengeance
Hatred
Fire
Burning desire
Murder
Rape
Terror
Pleasure and pain
Born to die
Born to kill
Stoke the flame
Fuel the fire
Bow to me
Follow my lead
And you’ll receive
Endless pain
Twisted mangled and contorted corpses
Raped of all their innocence
Tortured choir of a wretched scream
Duality of war and peace
Vengeance
Hatred
Fire
Burning desire
Murder
Rape
Terror
Pleasure and pain
Noir (like in noir jazz) metal (like in doom/sludge) with trumpet and sax for vocalists. For these moments when you'd actually listen to dark jazz but it's too light. Awesome. Love me talking brass... YomaBarr
Faerie Ring return and so does the RIFF, all caps. Faerie Ring take what would be a cookie cutter riff from anyone else and just JUICE it so thoroughly, with passion and energy and melodic interest and the all-important rhythmic groove (much more important to a good stoner riff than loud fuzz), that it just blows out your speaker and makes you mean mug. Guaranteed. I loved the wacky sounds they created in the studio that really push this over the edge from great into bonkers-great. pinkytheent

This searing, four-track split from Bog Wizard (Michigan) and Dust Lord (Colorado) pairs stoner rock riffs with hard fantasy themes. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 10, 2021
